Ghanaian midfielder Prince Ampem signs for Chinese Super League side Shanghai Port FC

Ghanaian midfielder Prince Ampem has been transferred to Chinese club Shanghai Port from Turkish side Eyüpspor.

The Ghanaian footballer will continue his career at Chinese team Shanghai Port.

Eyüpspor announced that their Ghanaian player Prince Ampem has transferred to the Chinese team Shanghai Port. In a statement made on the social media account of the purple-yellow team, it was said, “An agreement has been reached with the Chinese Super League team Shanghai Port regarding the transfer of our player Prince Ampem.

“We thank Prince Ampem for his efforts during the three seasons he wore our jersey, his contributions to the championship we experienced in Trendyol 1st League, and his performance during the two seasons we spent in Trendyol Super League, and we wish him success in the continuation of his career.”

The 27-year-old player, who was transferred from HNK Rijeka in 2023, played 87 matches in the Eyüpspor jersey and had a performance of 18 goals and 9 assists. Ampem also experienced the Trendyol 1st League championship with Eyüpspor in the 2023-2024 season.
