Ghanaian midfielder Raymond Gyamfi has completed a move to Armenian Premier League side Shirak Gyumri ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Ghanaian midfielder officially joined the Gyumri-based club on August 14, 2026, becoming one of the club’s latest additions as they strengthen their squad for the new campaign. The financial details and length of his contract have not been disclosed.
Gyamfi has already made his competitive debut for Shirak, coming off the bench to make one Premier League appearance. He featured for 30 minutes and is yet to register a goal or assist.
The midfielder has been assigned the number 90 jersey and is expected to compete for a regular place in Shirak’s midfield as the Armenian Premier League season progresses.
His move marks the beginning of a new chapter in Armenian football, with the Ghanaian hoping to establish himself in the top flight and make a significant contribution to Shirak Gyumri’s ambitions during the 2026/27 campaign.
Having already made his first appearance for the club, Gyamfi will now be looking to earn more playing time and cement his place in the team’s starting lineup.
