Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed scored his first goal of the season for Racing Club De Lens in the French Ligue 1 on Wednesday evening.
The Ghanaian box-to-box midfielder scored his team’s third goal in their 5-2 drubbing of FC Lorient at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
His goal came in the second half of the match when the score was still 2-2 and 12 minutes into the second period of the match to put the hosts 3-2 up to restore their lead.
Jimmy Cabot located him in the box and the midfielder slotted home with a left-footed strike into the bottom left corner of the goal post to register his name on the scorers sheet in the French Ligue 1 for the first time this season.
Lens scored two additional goals late in the game to win it 5-2 at the end of the match to remain on same points with PSG.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian midfielder has played in all five ligue 1 games this season for the Red and Yellows outfit and has a goal to his name.
