Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed was on target for Clermont Foot in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon against Nantes but could not full throttle as he was sent off for a second bookable offense in the 72nd minute.
Despite his expulsion and his side’s subsequent 3-2 defeat, the Ghanaian enforcer was among the best players on the field as he shielded the back four and joined the attack when needed.
Samed netted the second goal for his side in the 63rd minute to bring them into level pegging after the away side had taken a 2-1 lead before Kolo Muani scored what proved to be the winner for Nantes four minutes later.
He has played 26 ligue 1 games this season scoring one goal
