Ghanaian midfielder Musah Mohammed played a key role in Bodrum FK’s 2-2 draw against Erzurumspor FK in Round 17 of the Turkish 1. Lig on Sunday.
Mohammed opened the scoring for Bodrum just two minutes into the second half, curling a precise right-foot shot from outside the box into the bottom corner to give his team the lead. The Ghanaian international played the entire match and impressed fans with his composed passing and intelligent movement on the field.
Erzurumspor had initially taken an early lead through Mustafa Yumlu in the eighth minute, following a corner that was confirmed by VAR. Bodrum responded before halftime when Fredy scored from long range, leveling the score and giving the visitors renewed confidence.
Mohammed’s strike briefly put Bodrum ahead, but Erzurumspor continued to press and eventually found an equalizer in the 83rd minute through Eren Tozlu’s header. Despite being dominated in possession and outshot by the hosts, Bodrum held firm to secure a hard-fought draw at Kazım Karabekir Stadium.
Bodrum FK now turn their attention to an upcoming Turkish Cup clash against Gençlerbirliği.
