Francis Manu-Adabor, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee for Lands and Forestry and also a Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South-East, has criticized the current players of Asante Kotoko due to their recent inconsistent performances in the betPawa Premier League.
On Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium, the Porcupines drew 1-1 with Bibiani Gold Stars, extending their winless run to three games. Solomon Safo-Taylor scored a goal in the first half before Abednego Tetteh equalized in stoppage time.
Kotoko fans have expressed their disappointment with the team’s recent performances on social media, and Manu-Adabor, a staunch supporter of the club, has called for a complete overhaul of the team, stating that “The boys are playing abr). There is something wrong I guess so pls do complete overhaul of the team,” under a post on the club’s official Facebook page.

With four games remaining, this result has left Kotoko outside the top four, with seven points separating them from the top spot.
