Ernest Nuamah, the Ghanaian international, showcased his skills as he played for FC Nordsjaelland in their match against Brondby IF on Monday 29th May, 2023 evening.
In the Championship playoff match of the 2022/23 Danish Superliga campaign, the talented young player started in the attacking position for his team.
FC Nordsjaelland needed a victory to stay in the race for the league title, but things didn’t go according to plan.
Brondby IF, the home team, had a strong start and equalized in the 2nd minute of the first half through Ohi Omoijuanfo.
Before halftime, Mathias Kvistgaarden extended the lead for the hosts by scoring another goal.
In the second half, FC Nordsjaelland tried to mount a comeback but could only find the back of the net once.
Youngster Ernest Nuamah scored a consolation goal for the visitors in the 72nd minute, but it proved to be too little, too late.
Brondby sealed a convincing 5-1 victory with two more goals from Mathias Kvistgaarden and a strike from Oscar Schwartau.
With his goal in this match, Ernest Nuamah has now scored 12 goals in 30 appearances for FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga.
