Ghanaian star midfielder Mohammed Kudus will return to the Anfield stadium a year after sustaining a horrible injury against Liverpool FC on his Champions League debut at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
The Ghanaian had an early setback in the Dutch capital after getting injured during his UEFA Champions League debut against Jurgen Klopp’s Reds on October 21,2020.
The 20-year-old was subsequently ruled out for almost three months, as he fought his way back to full fitness.
The midfielder, however, believes things could have been worse and was thankful to have fully recovered from the setback.
After scoring a goal and providing an assist in the first game against Scottish side Rangers Football Club, the Ghanaian will be brimming in confidence ahead of the game today.
This will be his first outing at the famous stadium in England to take on the most successful English club in the history of the champions league.
Kudus may fancy his chances against the Reds who are struggling this season so far in all competitions and could have his revenge by hitting the back of the net.
