Ghanaian young promising forward Abdul-Aziz Yakubu registered his 8th goal of the season after scoring the match winner to power Rio Ave to victory in the Liga Portugal 2.

The 23-year-old netted the only goal of the match as Rio Ave sealed a 1-0 win against Estrela Amadora on Monday night.

The Ghanaian International expertly converted a penalty kick in the 34th minute at the Estadio do Rio Ave to snatch all three points for Rio Ave in the round 22 fixture in the Portuguese second-tier.

Abdu Aziz’s goal on Monday night means that he has scored five goals in his last seven caps in the league.

He has 8 goals in 21 appearances for Rio Ave this season in Liga Portugal 2.
