Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has earned a nomination for Bournemouth Player of the Month for November.
The 22-year-old striker has been a key contributor throughout the current Premier League season, making ten appearances and scoring twice for the Cherries.
Bournemouth, under the management of Andoni Iraola, experienced success in November with notable wins over Sheffield United and Newcastle United, in which Semenyo played a crucial role.
His direct and forceful style of play has made him indispensable to Iraola’s squad. Semenyo’s notable contributions include assisting Dominic Solanke’s goal against Newcastle and setting up Marcus Tavernier’s goal at Sheffield United.
However, he faces competition for the award from fellow teammates Ryan Christie, Dominic Solanke, and Marcus Tavernier.
As Semenyo continues to impress, he is anticipated to be named in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) scheduled to be hosted in Ivory Coast next year.
