Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey has clinched the title of the player with the second-largest influence on the Bulgaria league in the 2023/24 season, as revealed by a recent CIES study.
Examining six pivotal aspects of the game, the study uncovered Tekpetey’s dominance on the field, solidifying his position as the league’s runner-up.
Tekpetey’s impact has been unmistakable, demonstrated by his stellar performance in 30 league matches this season, where he scored 10 goals and provided six assists while representing Ludogorets.
Since his arrival at Ludogorets in 2020, Tekpetey has been a key figure in the squad, featuring in 171 games across four seasons, amassing an impressive record of 39 goals and 36 assists.
Despite his remarkable club achievements, the 26-year-old has been notably absent from the Ghana national team, the Black Stars, following his debut at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017, where he appeared in two matches.
With over four years spent at Ludogorets, Tekpetey is now rumored to be contemplating a departure from the Bulgarian club this summer, potentially marking the dawn of a new chapter in his illustrious career.
