English-born Ghanaian striker Brandon Thomas-Asante registered hat-trick for Salford City in their heavy win against Scunthorpe United in the English League Two on Saturday.
The 23-year old attacker was a delight to watch as he created a very hectic moment for Scunthorpe United defenders throughout the game.
Thomas-Asante scored after 45+1 to double Salford City’s lead after Matt Smith had opened the coring in the 17th minute-mark of the game.
However, Joseph Andre Nuttall pulled one back for Scunthorpe United in the 61st minute.
In the 67th minute, Salford City extended their lead to 3-1 through Brandon Thomas-Asante before Stephen Kelley added the fourth goal in the 77th minute.
With nine minutes from full time, Brandon Thomas-Asante completed his hat-trick in the game with a fine strike to seal an emphatic 5-1 victory for Salford United at the Peninsula Stadium.
Born in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom to Ghanaian parents, Thomas Asante has made 29 caps for his team this season, scoring nine goals in the process.
