German-born Ghanaian forward Braydon Manu made an impressive start with PEC Zwolle, scoring in their pre-season friendly against Venezia.
Manu found the net just two minutes into the match, giving the Eredivisie side an early lead in their final warm-up game.
However, Venezia equalized after 14 minutes when Christian Gytkjaer struck from close range.
The Serie A side ultimately claimed victory with a late goal from Nicholas Pierini, who scored five minutes before the final whistle.
Manu joined Zwolle this summer following the expiration of his contract with SV Darmstadt.
He is anticipated to be a significant player for the Dutch club and may make his official league debut against FC Utrecht.
