In a thrilling encounter on Saturday afternoon, Ibrahim Sadiq played the hero for BK Hacken as he scored the winning goal in their 2-1 victory over AIK.
Before the game, AIK had the upper hand in the head-to-head record with 14 wins, while Häcken had secured seven victories, and they had drawn six times.
Sadiq, who previously played for FC Nordsjaelland, started the match and played the full 90 minutes before being replaced by Franklin Uchenna.
BK Hacken dominated possession throughout the game, creating more scoring opportunities.
AIK took the lead in the 37th minute when Mads Thychosen unleashed a powerful right-footed shot from outside the box, finding the bottom right corner of the net following a corner.
However, BK Häcken responded strongly in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Mikkel Rygaard found the back of the net with a precise left-footed shot from the left side of the six-yard box, placing it high in the center of the goal. Kristoffer Lund provided the assist for Rygaard’s goal.
It was Ibrahim Sadiq who ultimately saved the day for BK Hacken in the 74th minute. He unleashed a well-placed right-footed shot from the center of the box, finding the bottom left corner of the net. Once again, it was Kristoffer Lund who provided the assist for Sadiq’s crucial goal.
With Sadiq’s goal, BK Hacken secured a hard-fought victory and celebrated their well-deserved three points.
