Ghanaian attacker Issah Abass came off the bench to pull Radnicki Nis level, but his effort was not enough as the side fell 3–2 away to Vojvodina in the Serbian Super League.
Introduced at half-time, Abass injected energy and direct running into a Radnicki side that had struggled in the first 45 minutes.
Vojvodina opened the scoring in the 21st minute through Marko Velickovic, following a clever build-up from Aleksa Vukanovic. Ten minutes into the second half, Abass timed his run perfectly to meet a Ranko Jokic pass, slotting home to make it 1–1.
Radnicki’s equaliser was short-lived. Vukanovic restored Vojvodina’s lead in the 58th minute, finishing another move initiated by Velickovic, before Vukan Savicevic added a third just five minutes later from Lucas Barros’s assist. Mateja Radonjic pulled one back late from Gboly Ariyibi’s cross, but Radnicki could not find a late equaliser.
Abass’s strike adds to a solid 2025/26 campaign, bringing his tally to one goal in eight appearances for Radnicki Nis.
