Joel Fameyeh of Ghana found the back of the net in Rubin Kazan’s match against Akron Togliatti in the 31st round of the Russian Football National League.

The first half of the game was relatively uneventful, with both teams exercising caution and struggling to establish a rhythm on the field. However, most of the goals were scored during this period.

Rubin Kazan wasted no time in taking the lead, with Rustamjon Ashurmatov scoring in the 4th minute. Just three minutes later, Merabi Uridia extended their advantage with another goal.

In the 13th minute, Ruslan Apekov pulled one back for Akron Togliatti, but Joel Fameyeh quickly responded, restoring Rubin Kazan’s two-goal lead in the 17th minute.

In injury time, the visitors managed to reduce the deficit through Abu-Said Eldarushev, making it 3-2.

With 62 points from 31 games, Rubin Kazan currently sits in second place on the league table, trailing league leaders Baltika by two points. Their next league match will be against Baltika.

Joel Fameyeh was substituted in the 85th minute, with Vitali Lisakovich taking his place on the field.
