Ghanaian striker Kwame Thomas failed to secure a place in League 2 after his lost 5-4 to Grimsby Town in a pulsating playoff encounter.
Thomas is nursing an injury and he could feature as he watched the game from the Stands at the Racecourse Grounds.
The initial 90 minutes ended 1-1 but seven more goals were scored in the space of thirty minutes in extra time with Luke Waterfall netting the winner for Grimsby in the 119th minute.
