Ghanaian forward Michael Sarpong will be playing in the 2022/2023 Confederation Cup should he extend his contract with AS Kigali.
The Kigali City sponsored club beat APR FC 1-0 in midweek courtesy of a Rashid Kalisa strike and they have secured their Confederation Cup ticket.
Sarpong was an unused substitute in the final though in all he netted two goals in his club’s run to the Peace Cup glory.
He joined AS Kigali on a three-month deal in April this year after severing ties with Saudi outfit Al Nadha.
