Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi made a notable impact as a substitute, finding the net for Paphos in their 2-1 defeat against Karmiotissa in the Cyta Championship on Sunday.
Twumasi, formerly with FC Astana, scored his third goal of the season during the match.
Karmiotissa’s Andreas Katsantonis netted twice in the 19th and 33rd minutes, securing a two-goal lead by halftime.
Twumasi entered the game in the 46th minute and scored in injury time, reducing the deficit for Paphos at the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium.
Despite his late effort, Paphos ended the match with a 2-1 loss, currently holding the fourth position on the league table with 29 points after the completion of the 14th-week fixture.
