Ghanaian swimmer Abeiku Jackson secured a bronze medal in the men’s 100m butterfly re-swim event, adding to his impressive performance at the 13th African Games in Accra, Ghana.
Jackson’s achievement marked his second medal at the Games, delivering a commendable performance with a time of 53.80 seconds. However, despite his remarkable effort, he fell short of the gold medal, which was claimed by Nasr Abdulla and Eaton Jardan of Egypt, who clocked in at 53.29 seconds.
With this bronze medal, Abeiku Jackson has contributed to Ghana’s total medal count, elevating the nation’s standing on the medals table to fifth place.
