Ghanaian youngster Yassin Mohammed has sealed a loan move from Swedish powerhouse Malmo FF to partner club BK Olympic.
The 18-year-old striker will spend the 2025 season with BK Olympic, who compete in Ettan Sodra, Sweden’s third tier, in a move aimed at providing him with valuable senior-level experience.
Mohammed joined Malmo last year from the renowned WAFA Academy in Ghana and is regarded as one of the club’s most promising attacking talents.
The move comes under a long-standing partnership between Malmo and BK Olympic, which regularly allows young prospects to gain competitive minutes and adjust to the demands of senior football.
Speaking to Malmo’s official website, Mohammed expressed optimism about the new chapter in his career.
“Being loaned to BK Olympic feels like a good step for me, and I hope we have a good season together,” he said.
The Ghanaian forward had an impressive youth campaign last season, scoring seven goals in 11 matches in the P19 Allsvenskan, showcasing his sharp movement, finishing ability, and physical presence.
The loan spell is expected to further sharpen Mohammed’s game and position him for a future breakthrough at Malmo, as he continues to represent Ghanaian talent in Sweden.
