Ghanaian teenager Ezekiel Alladoh continued his fine debut season in Sweden by getting on the scoresheet in Brommapojkarna’s 4-2 home defeat to IK Sirius in the Allsvenskan on Sunday.

The 19-year-old forward, who joined Brommapojkarna from Ghanaian side Accra Lions earlier this year, netted his fifth league goal of the campaign at the Grimsta IP Stadium but could not prevent his side from falling short in the six-goal thriller.

After a goalless first half, Sirius broke the deadlock in the 50th minute through Danish defender Tobias Anker, who capitalised on a set-piece. Alladoh, however, struck back just five minutes later, showing his poacher’s instincts to finish off a precise pass from Adam Jakobsen and bring the game level at 1-1.

The equaliser was short-lived, as Leo Walta restored Sirius’ lead less than a minute later. Jakobsen then converted from the penalty spot in the 65th minute to give Brommapojkarna fresh hope, making it 2-2.

But Sirius proved ruthless in the final stages. Scottish striker Robbie Ure put the visitors ahead in the 71st minute before Oscar Krusnell sealed the victory with a composed finish in the 83rd minute.

Despite the defeat, Alladoh’s performance once again underlined his growing importance to Brommapojkarna. Since his arrival, he has made 22 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and quickly becoming one of the club’s most reliable attacking outlets.
