Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman made his 50th appearance for Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland in style as they thumped Silkeborg on Sunday afternoon.
The 19-year-old delivered an assist, keeping the Wild Tigers’ title hopes alive ahead of the season’s final game.
Osman, who is set to join English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion this summer, signed with Nordsjaelland in January 2023 and quickly became an essential player for the club.
In his tenure, he has made 50 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists across various competitions, including the UEFA Conference League.
In Sunday’s match, Osman assisted Andreas Schjelderup in the second half, giving FC Nordsjaelland a 2-1 lead with 22 minutes left. The visitors had equalized an early Stefan Pordason goal with Jeppe Tverskov’s strike in the 18th minute, making it 1-1 at halftime.
Nordsjaelland dominated the second half, with Schjelderup adding his second goal and Benjamin Nygren sealing an emphatic win.
Osman’s assist marked his seventh goal contribution in his last seven games for the Danish side.
