Ghanaian youngster Kojo Peprah Oppong is currently on trials at relegated Swedish Allsvenskan side GIF Sundsvall and could end up securing a loan move this term, africa-foot.com reports.
The 19-year-old promising centre-back, who is currently on the books of top-flight campaigners IFK Norrköping, is set to be farmed out to suitors for game time ahead of the 2023/24 football season.
GlF Sundsvall sporting director Tommy Naurin confirming the trial sessions of the Attram de Visser Soccer Academy product to ST:
“He is here to get to know us for two days. An exciting young player and a physical centre-back who can also play right-back. We’ll see if it can be something for us in the fall.”
Oppong running contract with IFK Norrköping is due to run out on December 31, 2026 and is likely to spent the upcoming season on loan elsewhere.
He is yet to earn his international cap with Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
