Teenage forward Caleb Yirenkyi netted his first goal for FC Nordsjaelland on Friday, March 7, 2025, as they secured a 3-1 home victory over Vejle in the Danish Superliga.
The 19-year-old found the back of the net in the 82nd minute, reacting quickly to slot home a rebound after the opposing goalkeeper parried a shot back into play.
FC Nordsjaelland had taken an early lead through Erik Nygren, who struck just three minutes into the game, before Sindre doubled their advantage in the 53rd minute.
Yirenkyi, making his seventh league appearance for the club, played the full 90 minutes in the victory. The young Ghanaian joined Nordsjaelland in March 2024 from the Right to Dream Academy.
