Ghanaian teenager Mordecai Zuhs Boahene made his Regionalliga debut for Rott Weiss Ahlen on Wednesday night as they defeated Schalke 04 II by three goals to two at home.
Zuhs, 19, was signed by Rott Weiss in January from the under 21 side of Schalke but has not featured in the league due to an ankle injury.
He was excellent at the back as he put the brakes on the Schalke attackers which ensured that his side amassed the three maximum points.
Born in Germany, Zuhs is the junior brother of former Kotoko and under 20 midfielder Kwame Boahene.
