Ghanaian youngster Kwadwo Baah contributed to the goals as Burton Albion secured an impressive 4-1 victory against Bristol Rovers in the English League One on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Burton bounced back after conceding an early goal, with midfielder Anthony Evans putting Rovers ahead in the 7th minute. However, their lead was short-lived as Congolese forward Beryly Lubala equalized for Burton.
Lubala continued to shine and put the hosts in front just two minutes before half-time with an assist from Mark Helm.
In the 81st minute, English midfielder Joe Powell extended Burton’s lead, and Kwadwo Baah added the finishing touch to the match, capitalizing on a pass from Lubala.
Lubala selflessly declined the opportunity to pursue a hat-trick and instead set up Baah, who scored with a rising shot that found the net just three minutes later.
Baah, who is still eligible to represent Ghana, England, and Germany, has now contributed two goals and one assist in 11 games played in the English League One this season.
