England and Ghana-eligible winger Maleace Asamoah has completed a loan move from Wigan Athletic to Port Vale, with the deal running until 31 May 2027.
The 23-year-old right winger completed the switch on 1 September 2026, moving from League One to League Two after ending his loan spell with Irish side Shamrock Rovers.
Asamoah featured twice in European qualifying this season, making appearances in both the Europa League and Champions League qualifying rounds, although he did not register a goal.
The Oxford-born attacker joined Wigan from Fleetwood Town in 2024 after beginning his senior career with clubs including Cheshunt, Kalamata, Olympiakos Volos and New Salamis.
Known for his pace and versatility on the right flank, Asamoah will now look to gain regular playing time with Port Vale and continue his development.
The move marks another chapter in the winger’s career, which has included spells in England, Ireland and Greece, as he aims to make a strong impact in League Two.
