Colchester United, have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Owura Nsiah Edwards for an undisclosed fee, subject to ratification from the usual relevant bodies. He attacker joins the club until 2025.
Edwards first joined Colchester United on loan from the Robins on January 17th 2022, and marked his debut with a goal at Sutton United twenty four hours later.
Two further goals followed, but an injury at Britol Rovers meant a short lay off before he returned to play one more game towards the end of the 2021/22 season.
In total, he made thirteen appearances for the U’s, before heading back to the West Country and his parent club Bristol City.
Last season, Owura made another loan move from Ashton Gate, this time to Ross County where he made thirty six appearances as County retained their Scottish Premiership status via the end of season Play-Offs.
The 21- year old right-footed winger will take the number eleven shirt at Colchester.
He, however, won’t be available for the team’s visit to Walsall this weekend.
