Ghana international Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer continued his impressive form for Hamburger SV in Germany, delivering an assist to help the club secure a resounding 7-1 victory in the first round of the DFB Pokal.
The 22-year-old forward played the entire duration of the match as his team cruised to a convincing win over their opponent on Sunday at the Hänsch-Arena.
Hamburger SV dominated the game from the start, taking a 2-0 lead at halftime. Immanuel Pherai opened the scoring in the 17th minute, and Miro Muheim doubled the advantage in the 31st minute.
The visitors continued their impressive display, scoring five additional goals in the second half through Davie Selke, Immanuel Pherai, Fabio Balde, Tim Möller, and Robert Glatzel.
