Ghanaian promising forward Jayden Addai, has expressed his excitement after begging a -hat-trick in AZ Alkmaar’s 3-1 win against SC Telstar on Monday 28th August, 2023.
Speaking after the game, the Dutch-born Ghanaian striker said: “I got a good pass from Ricuenio (Kewal), saw space in the short corner and knew I had to put it there,” Addai described his first goal,”
“It was nice. I would have awarded Ro-Zangelo (Daal) the penalty, but I wanted to score my hat-trick and he understood that.”
Addai, 18, is currently the top scorer of the league with five goals.
“This is what you want and that’s beautiful. But without the team, this would not have been possible. We have to keep going, because this is only the beginning of the season.” Addai added.
