Ghana young forward Kwame Poku Adubofour scored his third league goal of the season for Peterborough United FC in the English League One on Tuesday evening.
The attacker scored his team’s second goal in their 3-1 home win over the Red and Whites outfit to move to fourth on the league table after 16 games with 28 points.
Accrington Stanley scored first when Harvey Rodgers found the back of the net half way through the first 45 minutes of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up.
Ephron Mason-Clark grabbed the equalizer for the home team to make it 1-1 after 33 minutes of the match to restore parity before the break.
Six minutes after the break, Mason-Clark set up the Ghanaian forward to score Peterborough’s second goal to give the host the lead for the first time in the game.
His left-footed short from the center of the box went into the center of the goal to turn the game in his team’s favour before Jonson Clarke-Harris made it 3-1 at full time.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker has three goals and two assists in the English League One this season in eight appearances.
