Czech club Slovan Liberec has strengthened its attack by signing 20-year-old Ghanaian talent Benjamin Nyarko from Austrian club SV Lafnitz.
Nyarko, known for his speed, strength, and one-on-one skills, can play both as a striker and a winger. Last season, he made a mark in Austria’s second tier with Lafnitz, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 25 appearances across all competitions.
Thrilled about his “dream” move, Nyarko praised Slovan Liberec for its family-like atmosphere. “I’m excited to join this team and contribute to its success,” he said.
Slovan Liberec CEO Jan Nezmar expressed high hopes for the young player, emphasizing his valuable qualities. “Nyarko’s speed and durability in duels make him a great addition to our squad. We believe he has the potential to develop further with us,” Nezmar stated.
Nyarko will have the chance to showcase his skills in upcoming friendlies in Austria, as he begins his journey with a four-year contract. His arrival marks the third reinforcement for Slovan Liberec this week, following the signings of Michal Hlavaty and Martin Rýzek.
With his talent and drive, Nyarko is set to make significant contributions to Slovan Liberec and advance his football career.
