Ghanaian youngster Darko Gyabi has been named Argyle’s Young Player of the Season. The 21-year-old midfielder, on loan from Leeds United, has played an important role throughout the campaign.
Gyabi showed great maturity and worked very hard for the team. He played in 43 Championship games, showing his strength and consistency.
One of the biggest moments of his season came in December, when he scored his first-ever senior goal in a match against Middlesbrough.
His strong performances and growth over the season made him a clear choice for the award.
The fans and coaches alike have been impressed with how much he has improved and how committed he has been on the pitch which could have led to a permanent deal had the club not been relegated.
