Ernest Nuamah, the talented young footballer from FC Nordsjaelland, has been named the Player of the Spring by Danish coaches, solidifying his status as one of the rising stars in Danish football.
With his exceptional skills and captivating performances, the 19-year-old has impressed both fans and experts throughout the season. This prestigious accolade serves as recognition for his remarkable talent and unwavering commitment on the field.
The award was presented to Nuamah on Thursday, with Tipsbladet and the 12 head coaches of the 3F Superliga unanimously selecting him as the standout player of the season. He succeeds Andreas Schjelderup, who won the award in 2022 and now plays for Benfica.
Nuamah’s journey began at the Right to Dream Academy before he joined FC Nordsjælland in January 2022. Since then, he has made a significant impact, debuting on April 10, 2022, and scoring a crucial goal in a 2-2 draw against Aarhus GF. His performance earned him the title of the team’s man of the match.
In the current season, the talented winger has made 29 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists.
As a testament to his impressive form, Nuamah has earned his first call-up to the senior national team of Ghana. He has been included in the 24-man squad set to face Madagascar on June 18th, further highlighting his rapid progression in the sport.
