Young Ghana forward Ernest Poku was on target for AZ Alkmaar in their narrow win on Saturday afternoon against Italy Serie A side Bologna FC.
The youngster scored a sumptuous sublime goal for the Red and Whites outfit as they beat the Italians 1-0 in a pre-season friendly game ahead of the 2023-24 campaign in the Netherlands.
Three minutes into the second 45 minutes of the frenetic encounter between the two teams, the Dutch-born Ghanaian gifted attacker went on a run and finished beautifully to win the game for his team.
Poku has been very consistent and brilliant for AZ this pre-season friendly games and could be the secret weapon for AZ Alkmaar in the upcoming 2023-24 Dutch Eredivisie and KNVB Cup tournament.
