Ghanaian teen sensation Gideon Kodua scored his maiden goal of the season for the West Ham U21 on Friday when they beat Everton U21 3-1 in the Premier League 2.
The 18-year-old midfielder scored the final goal as the Hammers secured their third win of the season over Everton at Rush Green Stadium.
Everton took the lead through Katia Kouyate in the 7th minute with Francis Okoronkwo assist.
The home side drew level just three minutes after the half-time break as Lewis Orford netted the equalising goal.
West Ham United extended their lead in the 67th minute when Callum Marshall converted penalty kick.
With six minutes remaining to the end of the match, Gideon Kodua converted George Earthy’s assist to wrap up an emphatic victory for West Ham.
Meanwhile, English-born Ghanaian midfielder Keenan Appiah-Forson was introduced in the game after 88th minutes on the clock.
