Ghanaian left-back Gideon Mensah has returned to his parent club RB Salzburg in the Austrian Típico Bundesliga for the 2022-23 season in Europe which starts in late July.
The Ghanaian international played the whole of the 2021-22 season on loan at French Ligue 1 side FC Girondins de Bordeaux.
He played in 23 league matches out of the 38 in the French top-flight for the Mauves and Whites outfit.
He was unable to help his side escape relegation from the top-flight into the French Ligue 2 at the end of the season as they finished last on the league log.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian managed two assists in the league for the relegated team in 23 outings.
