20-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana Kakari scored in the 74th minute for Cagliari in the 1-1 draw against his former side, Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A on Easter Monday.
The youngster replaced Alessandro Deiora in the 72nd minute and scored two minutes later for Cagliari Calcio at the Unimos Dopul.
Ibrahim Sulemana has missed Cagliari’s last 7 games due to injuries and marked his comeback with a very important goal for Claudio Ranieri’s side’s battle to survive.
Cagliari is lying in 16th place just behind Hellas Verona having won 27 points from 30 games.
Born in Sunyani, Ibrahim Sulemana signed a four-year contract with Cagliari in 2023 Summer after spending years in the Atalanta and Hellas Verona Academies. He made 17 appearances for Hellas Verona last season.
