Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Setordjie has taken another significant step in his development after joining Eintracht Frankfurt’s first team for training.
The 18-year-old joined the German Bundesliga club from Accra Lions FC during the summer transfer window following an impressive 2025/26 campaign in Ghana’s Division One League.
Setordjie had initially been working with Eintracht Frankfurt’s U21 side since completing his move, where his performances have earned him an opportunity to train alongside the senior squad.
The youngster’s rise comes after three seasons with Accra Lions, during which he made 52 appearances and scored six goals.
His promotion to first-team training provides Setordjie with an opportunity to demonstrate his qualities in front of the club’s senior coaching staff and gain valuable experience at one of Europe’s top-level leagues.
The Ghanaian prospect is now hoping to use the opportunity to continue his development, adapt to the demands of German football and eventually compete for a place in Frankfurt’s senior team.
