Ghanaian defender Nelson Abbey is out of hospital after suffering head injury on Tuesday.
Abbey did not last full throttle for the Reading u21 side in a friendly games against Luton as he had to be stretched to hospital after a head injury.
Reading announced on Tuesday that the defender is stable condition and has been discharged from hospital.
“We’re can confirm that Nelson Abbey has been discharged from hospital after he was taken as a precautionary measure having suffered a head injury at the end of today’s U21s friendly at Luton. He’s recovering well and will continue to be monitored by the club’s medical staff.” A statement from the club indicated.
Abbey was one of the stand out players for Reading youth team last season.
