Ghanaian youngster Nelson Abbey has been handed a deal to play for Reading FC’s Under-23s for the 2022-23 season.
Abbey, 18, made his first team debut against the Hatters in 2020, coming off the bench to take the place of Sone Aluko late on in the Carabao Cup defeat two years ago – and his first start came a year later when we hosted the Swans in the same competition.
The talented defended together with six other players namely Mamadi Camara, Rashawn Scott, Nelson Abbey, Matt Rowley, Sam Paul, Benjamin Purcell and Claudio Osorio.
