Black Stars New number one goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacot has safely arrived in Ghana ahead of the Super Eagles of Nigeria clash this Friday.
The Swindon Town FC goalie touched down in Ghana on Monday morning ahead of the announcement of the squad.
He has been Ghana’s first choice goalkeeper since the sacking of former coach CK Akonnor who was replaced by Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac.
He’s been in a fine form for his club in the English League Two keeping four clean sheets in his last eight matches for the Red and Whites.
He’s expected to be in goal when Ghana face Nigeria on Friday evening at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in the first leg of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers playoffs games.
