Ghana’s Black Challenge will play in their third consecutive Amputee Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) final following their win over Algeria on Saturday evening.
Yussif Yahaya scored while a brace from Mubarak Mohammed ensured a 3-0 victory for Ghana as they advanced to the final of the competition happening in Egypt.
The same semifinal clash against the North Africans saw Ghana earn total control of the game with Yahaya scoring after just four minutes.
Mubarak scored in the 36th and 48th minutes to put the game beyond the reach of Algeria and send the Black Challenge through to the final of the AAFCON.
The victory also sees Ghana qualify for the 2026 World Amputee Football World Cup to be staged in Panama.
Ghana will be looking to win the tournament for the third consecutive time and will face the winner of the game between Nigeria and Morocco.
