Ghanaian forward Dauda Mohammed grabbed his 7th league goal for FC Cartagena in the Spanish La Liga 2 on Sunday evening against leaders Eibar.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker scored his team’s second goal in their 4-1 comeback win over the Spanish La Liga 2 leaders in their week 30 clash.

Eibar took the lead after 19 minutes of play due to bad defending as Stoichkov pounced on a loose ball inside the box to power home the game’s opening goal to put the visitors 1-0 up.

Just before the break, Yann Bodiger’s defeleted free-kick found it way into the bottom left corner to restore parity going into the interval.

Seven minutes into the second half, Dauda scored the second goal for the home team after Eibar failed to clear their lines from a corner kick to make it 2-1.

The host scored two late goals through Alfred Ortuno’s 89th and Bodiger’s second deep into additional time period to make 4-1 to FC Cartagena.

Dauda played 87 minutes of the match.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian striker has played in 24 out of 30 matches in the Spanish La Liga 2 this season and has seven goals to his name.
