Ghanaian minnows Dreams FC enjoyed a successful debut campaign in the African inter-club competition, the CAF Confederation Cup to be precise.
The Still Believe reached the semi-finals and it has helped them move to 22nd on the list of the best-performed clubs on the continent in the last 5 years.
Dreams FC has amassed 15 points, just a point behind superpowers Etoile du Sahel (20th) and Orlando Pirates (21st).
The list contains the top 30 clubs in terms of performance in the CAF Confederation Cup in the last 5 years.
Egypt’s Al Ahly leads the list with 82 points. Esperance of Tunis is second with 21 points. Wydad, Sundowns and Zamalek complete the top five with 60, 54 and 43 points respectively.
RS Berkane (6th), Simba SC (7th) Petro Luanda (8th), TP Mazembe (9th), and Belouizdad (10th) having won 42, 39, 39, 38 and 37 points respectively complete the top 10.
