Three minutes later, Marco Burch made it two to the away team who were cruising inside 10 minutes with a 2-0 advantage.

Seven minutes after the half hour mark, Schmidt set up Kwadwo Duah in the box who’s shot found the bottom left corner to make it 3-2 before the break.

Duah’s goal was enough to seal victory for Ati-Zigi and St Gallen who kept the visitors attackers at bay and the second half to emerge 3-2 victors.

The Ghanaian international goalkeeper has played 26 matches out of 27 matches in the Swiss Super League this season and has kept four clean and one penalty save out of two faced.
