Ghana international Ibrahim Sadiq showcased his prowess with AZ Alkmaar, directly contributing to two goals in their 3-0 Eredivisie triumph on Sunday afternoon, edging them closer to their European aspirations.

Sadiq initiated the scoring after 39 minutes, seizing possession from the opposing goalkeeper and slotting the ball into the net. His individual effort set AZ on course for victory.

Heading into halftime with a 2-0 advantage, AZ’s dominance persisted, with Sven Mijnans doubling the lead just before the break.

Despite narrowly missing a chance early in the second half, Sadiq remained influential. In the 77th minute, he provided a precise pass to Myron Van Brederode, who elegantly found the back of the net, sealing a convincing 3-0 win.

Sadiq’s assist for Brederode marks his fourth goal involvement in as many league games for the club, underscoring his significant impact on the team’s recent performances.
