Ghanaian forward Joel Fameyeh netted brace to power FC Orenburg to a comfortable win at home over KamAZ on Saturday afternoon.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC star striker banged both goals in his team’s 2-0 to maintain top spot in the Russian National Football League.
After the half an hour failed to produced a goal, the Ghanaian forward headed home the first goal three minutes later to give the home team a first half lead.
Fameyeh rose highest in the box at the far post to head in the opening goal and break the deadlock with a close range finish.
He scored again with a brilliant finish on the 84th minute of the match to seal all three points for the Blue and Whites to secure top spot with 59 points with 10 games to go.
The 24-year-old attacker has 11 goals and four assists from 20 matches in the 2021-22 Russian National Football League.
