Black Stars midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, continued his staggering form for Ajax as they face Liverpool in match day two of UEFA Champions League.

Kudus, who had scored four times and provided one assist in his previous three games, was looking to prove his worth once again.

Alfred Schreuder made changes two the line-up which beat Heerenveen over the weekend but Kudus was among the players whose place was not tempered.

Liverpool opened the scoring through Mohamed Salah at Anfield but that lead lasted just 10 minutes as the Ghanaian blasted his strike off the crossbar and into the net to make it 1-1.

Kudus played 86 minutes of the game and was replaced by Brian Brobbey before Liverpool restored their lead through Joel Matip.

The 22-year-old has now scored in four consecutive games for Ajax, a feat he has achieved for the first time in his career.
